Why use Trident pumps?

In Canada, which has one of the largest forested areas in the world, You can not travel 5 km without running into a large body of water.
So, Why doesn’t forestry utilize this water to extinguish the fires from the ground? There’s Two reasons;
  •  Firstly, because of the amount of time it takes, utilizing current systems, it is far to dangerous for firefighters to attack fires from the ground
  • Secondly, because the pumps needed to move that amount of water, weigh in excess of 5,000 lbs, which means they are far to bulky to go off road.
But…what if someone had a pump that weighed just 600 lbs yet, could out perform the larger one? Well, we would finally have the very tool we need to possibly control these fires, or steer them from communities.
Our pump has a total weight of between 500 and 650 lbs depending on options.  When you combine our pumping system with our hose systems, sprinkler systems, quick connect water thieves, Gel trailers, Off-Road units, Helicopter skids, you get the most complete, rapid response system available!

We currently offer Provincial and Private Structure protection services, as well as WUI fire fighting crews, utilizing our patented pumps and support equipment.
We have completed work on designing  a rolling package for municipalities which consists of a trailer carrying one pump unit, hose deployer and a long range sprinkler package with onboard fuel tanks and transfer pumps. With this system, per unit, municipalities will have the ability to deploy a 120′ high WALL OF WATER “up to” a mile long using our high volume sprinklers and high pressure 4″ layflat hose. This setup can be strung out and operational within an hour, depending on terrain with a small crew! If a water source is further away, multiple units can be deployed to source the water!
This system can be used for grass fires, rural water shuttling, steering forest fires, structure protection, oilfield asset protection, onsite fire protection services, as well as flood mitigation including underpass drainage in metropolitan areas.

When would you require our services?

During a flooding event, or a WildLand Fire event, Municipalities are required to cover all costs associated with protection and clean up; unless there is a Provincial state of emergency declared.

 Before your community is threatened by either, we recommend that you request our Hazard assessment services Directly

 We offer Municipal and Community Fire Hazard Assessment packages that cover Emergency Response Programs tailor suited to each area, based on our Patented System!
